💬 EXPERT OPINION

Some projects that are currently independent layer 1s are seeking to come closer to the Ethereum ecosystem.

Vitalic Buterin

Vitalic published a blog post that argues these initiatives may prefer a gradual shift. Shifting everything simultaneously at this point would reduce usability due to the technology not being fully prepared for complete roll-up integration. Conversely, delaying a simultaneous transition risks losing momentum and arriving too late to make a significant impact.

ℹ️ METRIC OF THE WEEK

US spot Bitcoin ETFs are set to exceed GBTC holdings this week, marking a significant milestone. The reason for that is the differences in the cumulative flow of Bitcoin Spot ETFs and GBTC.
